Jellyfish’s design philosophy from the outset was to reduce the load on administrators and users alike. One way to do this is to include as much self-service capability built in as possible. As a result, many of the services offered by Jellyfish offer a self-service alternative. Our self-service portal is designed to provide you with tools to manage your account in a user-friendly way. This factsheet provides a quick overview of the Jellyfish Self-Service Portal and its features.

Access and, review and edit your personal account information, including:

  • Your personal account information
  • Your organisation information
  • You assigned smartcards and certificates (and their status)

Ticket Services

The ticket services menu offers the ability to submit and search tickets.

There are two options within the ticket services menu:

  • Submit a ticket: Create a new support ticket to report technical issues, request assistance, or seek information from support.
  • View Tickets: Track the progress of your submitted tickets, view updates and respond to request from the View Tickets menu.

Certificate Services

From the My Certificates page, you can request user certificates for yourself and view your own certificates and their validity.

The Jellyfish Self-Service offers the ability to issue your own user certificates in a user-friendly interface. Certificates can be used to authenticate your identity and securely access specific systems and resources.

To enable self-service user certificates, simply enrol a certificate template into self-service eligibility from the template management page. If the template is compatible with self-service, you should be able to submit a user certificate request in a single click!

Smartcard Services

The Jellyfish Self-Service page also offers the ability to request and manage your own smartcards. This empowers users to easily request and manage their own smartcards, including resetting and updating their pins. If available, you can also reset your secret questions for any owned smartcards.
